ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Beautiful (in all senses hehehe) this new record: the last full length album after seven albums from a studio work by the blonde guitar hero certainly leaves you blown away in a positive sense. The Australian six-string queen has made herself known not only for her commendable musical technique and her previous albums but above all for being the guitarist no less than Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana, Carrie Underwood, Alice Cooper, Michael Bolton and many others. This "O" is an authentic concentrate of solo mastery mixed with strong doses of melody and softened by innovative passages dedicated to a modernism that is rightly dosed and calibrated. An all-round rock record without sagging where the guitar but also the (beautiful) voice of Mrs. Panagaris stands out and gives her contribution, further embellishing the compositions. We also have excellent support in the rhythm section of the Frederiksen brothers. Ten tracks, all of high technical-compositional structure and all capable of giving the jolt of adrenaline but also of lulling the listener in a whirlwind of sensations. We start with 'Contagious', a song dedicated to a modern rock where, in certain situations, the ghost of Rob Zombie seems to resurface, even if the song lives of its own light thanks to the grit of our blonde with six strings and vocals. The next 'Sinners Hymn' also focuses on post-zero modernist symphonies and should please the youngest among you who are looking for something new and direct with a particularity in the guitar solo that goes against the trend of the song being very "seventies" with so much of the wah-wah effect to be the master. It continues with the more calm but not slow - absolutely- 'Blow, a captivating song that alternates quieter moments with a powerful guitar riffing. With 'Sorry' we return to modern styles and dedicated to a sound that combines marketability and moderately controlled rock injections embellished with an excellent arrangement. Then comes the moment of the first slow, a semi-acoustic ballad where the beautiful voice of the guitarist from Adelaide stands out, who then leaves room for her six-string, giving us a short but precious solos which, however, acts as an "ornament" to the strong pathos emanating from this song. The following 'Impulsive' slips away without infamy and without praise, graceful in its fm rock with a vast airplay and we arrive therefore at the most 'aggressive' rock of 'Streams of Consciousness' with an almost "cadenced" trend and always and in any case embellished by the guitar work by our Orianthi. Particular, with lots of sounds and various programming, the alternative and bewitching 'Company'; song also from vast airplay but very particular in the arrangement going to wink at a certain pop music of the author elegantly played and in any case a song that deserves, in terms of originality, a particular applause. He remembers a little certain atmospheres dear to the myth Gary Moore in his '97 album 'Dark Days in Paradise', where he dared to embrace other styles with results that were satisfying to say the least for myself but catastrophic to hear the judgments of the world "critics" . This album closes with another slow one, 'Moonwalker', which has on its side a powerful concentration of euphonies and melodies from which a commendable vocal interpretation of Orianthi rises which then ends with a bluesy solos and seals a record of undoubted value. Do not expect, in this work, long and sometimes boring solo parts and masturbations in search of speed or hyper technicality: Orianthi does not need it, and has given us - fortunately - an album where the guitar is put to service. of melody and pure emotions. A must have !!!!
